Free mode is versatile as long as everyone cooperates.

Zombie free mode would be fun or zombie game mode. There is one player that is zombies amongst other NPC zombies and all the others are survivors and each survivor to die is swapped on to the zombie team until there's one person left. Also, maybe incorporating simple native trainer type program to build bases by spawning props.

That could be an idea, or just zombie A.I., and when you die, you're dead and have to find a new game. Cars and ammo is scarce. Of course, this is a little hardcore, but I think people, including myself, would enjoy the rush and intensity that would come with it. Of course, it wouldn't be the only zombie gamemode.

Getting kicked because you died is a terrible idea... It would be better if you remained dead until the round ended or if all the survivors died. Also, there should be goals or check points instead of running around aimlessly shooting zombies, getting from one part of the city (perhaps the suburbs or the central business district) to the other side (or border) or to the airport or army base.

Yeah, the dead till end of round thing is a lot better idea blush.gif And there should be objectives, but ultimately, the goal is to survive. But it'll be hard since PvP is also enabled. to tell you the truth, I'm getting a lot of inspiration from DayZ on this confused.gif

Should definatly be the original idea here, you get switched to the zombie team.
I never play game modes were you have to wait until the next round to respawn, (not since counter stike anyway), it's just boring and I don't have time to sit and watch others playing.

I would like Vigilante/Police missions to be expanded greatly and become one of the main MP modes, instead of being part of the main game.

Split into 2 game modes - Police or SWAT.

Police mode is a 2 player co-op story mode. ~10 missions and the missions are radiant like in Skyrim, so if you have to search for a drug dealer he will be in a different location each time you play, etc

SWAT is 4-16 players. You start at police station and have to respond to a major drug deal or a terrorist plot or something BIG. The location will be always be either a large warehouse or port or factory or ship etc. There will always be tons of bad guys and you and the rest of SWAT need to take them all out. You only get 1 life and a few of the bad guys are always armed with heavy weapons such as rocket launcher, sniper, turrets, grenades etc making it very dangerous and more challenging.

For CO-OP to return like in IV, they were the best game modes.. working together to complete certain missions.

In IV there was hangman's noose, bomb da base & deal breaker

This is a must in V's multiplayer & will be interesting to see what co op missions there will be

Another for the landing series by G26V

"Agents landing"

The most wanted man in "Los Santos" has been dropped off at the airport. Surrounded by F.B.I agents, the most wanted man's (the boss) crew has decided to free him before their boss gets deployed out of the state.

This match will be made out of two teams. The BOSS is being held inside the airport and is released into the lot as soon as the first player(s), get through the gates. The BOSS is controlled by the computer. IT is in the best interest of the f.b.i agents to surround him as soon as he is released and protect.

-BOSS'S crew. Made up of online players, Who will shoot their way into the airport where the boss is being held. Once they can get him into a vehicle, boat, or helicopter (more complicated thanks to the jets that will come and try to shoot it down, if the boss enters a helicopter) the crew must safely take the boss to the safe house located near the airport.
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --
-F.B.I agents. Will be made up of online players and some "computers" that will help at the front gate. The f.b.i. agents must successfully transfer the BOSS into the jetty ALIVE, once it lands. The crew cannot kill the BOSS, neither by accident, but accidental stray bullets by the computer swat members can kill the BOSS, rendering the crew as the winners, but less XP or cash would be given.

A good variety of weapons will be laid out around the airport. Snipers and some rocket launchers will be available mainly to be used by crew members, if they manage to get their hands on a helicopter. The reason why is so they can shoot down the computer controlled jets that will try their best to take down the helicopter. Rocket launchers can also be used by both the crew and the f.b.i to try and shoot each other off the road which will still prove to be a difficult task since the bullets will be flying and tires will be getting popped. the streets will be populated with parked cars at all times, and traffic with pedestrians can be optional. rampage_ani.gif

I would totally LOVE LOVE LOVE Rockstar Games if they bring in a "Gangster and Police" mode. This time with underground drug deals etc. and the police has to somehow first get informations, can frisk a gang member and if he is unlucky,he had a plan for a building that he had to bring back to the HQ.

Some sort of Death race with epic cinematic effects would be cool, i was a little disappointed about what Gta IV had to offer. I'd like to see what happens if they create a Max Payne 3-kind of race.

And of course Busted; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdbFQl25STA

a must is surely FREEMODE and GTA RACES.
Surely normal RACES and deathmatch variants.

But what I really would love to see is some "capture the building" sort of thing.

One gang is hiding in a tower (with a boss maybe like in CNC) and the other has to storm the place.
Yeah, speaking of CNC: COPS N CROOKS COULD have been one of the best modes. I hope R* got rid of its flaws and comes back with CNC.

Kill the Rat -

two teams of 3 spawn at opposite ends of an area, the goal is to kill the " rat ". the team who kills the "rat" first wins the round. if the "rat" isn't killed by the end of the round, the "rat" wins. to keep it fair, the "rat" has 2x health. a new "rat" is chosen at the end of each round. each round is 3 minutes long.

Elimination -

in this round, there are 3 teams of 5. the goal is to eliminate the other teams. once you die, you cannot respawn until the next round. when two teams are eliminated, the surviving teams wins the round. best of three rounds win.

Dogfight Elimination -

similar to elimination, only this time, everybody is in a jet. when two teams are all eliminated, the surviving team wins the round.

Ultimate Survival -

a co-op game type, with varying difficulties as you progress. the whole city wants you dead. each round you are put against of hookers, cops, soccer moms and hobos who will kill you without hesitation. the goal is to survive all 6 rounds without dying. various pickups can be found around the city. if your partner is downed, you can attempt to heal him for a limited amount of time. pickups, healing your teammates and finding pickups contribute to your overall score.

Triathlon 2.0 -

similar to the single player game mode featured in TBOGT, is brought to multiplayer. this mode features a multitude of racing types, on boats, on land and in the air. the first portion of the race is at the Los Santos docks. when the boat portion is over, there will be a selection of cars at the Pleasure Pier. at the end of the on land race, you will be at LSX, where there will be a selection of planes available. the first person to fly through the final check point is the winner.

Infection -

16 players are spawned at the L.S. docks. one random person is infected and cannot be killed, but can be temporarily stunned. if you are killed by the infected player, then you become infected. however, if you infect other players, you earn one point. also, if another player becomes infected, you earn one point if you are not infected yourself. the player with the highest score, infected or not, wins.

Infiltration -

there are two teams of 8. there are a variety of territories around the map. the goal of the game is to control as many territories as possible and protect them from the enemy team. if nobody is in a territory, it can be captured by the opposite team. each territory gives your team 2 points per second. at the end of the round the team with the most points is the winner.

not the best of gametypes, but tell me what you think of my modes. biggrin.gif
