Crashing Before Loading, STEAM no mods ever.

GTA: SA Crashing, didn't even play it.

Player Hater Group: Members Joined: Jul 23, 2012	Hi guys, I recently bought San Andreas from STEAM and I have not been able to even start playing yet, no .set files in MY Documents, and I have never installed mods. Really sucks because I payed, which I expect it to work. Any suggestions? I also tried reinstalling several times. Also what happens is after the opening cover art picture it crashes, saying GTA_SA.exe has encountered a problem. Please help guys. Time Killa™ Group: Zaibatsu Joined: Nov 26, 2009	Try running the game in Windows 98 compatibility mode. Make sure there are no applications running in the background that may interfere with the game. Also, have you tried updating your video drivers? That's important too.

Time Killa™ Group: Zaibatsu Joined: Nov 26, 2009	Uhh, no. Right click on gta_sa.exe, Properties, Compatibility, check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select "Windows 98 / Windows Me"
