I'm playing GTA IV on PC, and on TWO different PCs it has crashed on this spot, right as I pass the toll bridge on charge island, please help I have done this about 5 times, 3 times on the laptop, and 2 on the home computer, Both have windows 7 and work fine up until crossing this bridge! No mods, and even upon using said mods I have taken the mods out, it still crashes! ><

Where have you got the game from? Are you sure you've uninstalled those mods correctly? (if a mod is installed by a setup, it has to be uninstalled by another setup, simply removing some new files will NOT uninstall the mod). I'd recommend a fresh install and a defragmenting run on your HDD. Uninstall the game, keep the savegames, don't revoke the license, delete the game install directory, reinstall the game, update it manually. Take also a look at this post, it might help you someway. try once with cellphone out . if it crashes a a precise time it comes from the timecyc . if not it's very likely that you still have a mod left in the zone after charge island

Also possible your savegame has been altered by mods in some way that may lead to unsolicited crashes.
