Here's the problem I'm having with it. The error message is:

My directories and files have already been set to Full access.

What's "full access"? Is it not "read-only"?

Version is MyriadInstallerPackage(0.3Rel).rar.

The gta3.dir file is in the correct place under models and not read-only or locked or anything. It's the first thing the setup program accesses in the target directory, so it's like it's mixed up about the target directory.

Remove the "read only flag" by GTA3.img and GTA3.dir. If that not works do it by the whole VC map.
There can't be an other problem.

There are no read-only files in the whole GTAVC directory. Nothing has the read-only flag set.

Did you've unzipped the installer before you started the installation?

Hey...i get the same exact problem and i tried unchecking the read onlys but it goes back on and it wont install it says this

yeah i think thats because Barton threw a hissy fit somewhere else on gtaforums and decided to give up gta modding and killed all the links to his files, i think he blamed the gta games for kids going on the rampage and killing kids in schools in Norway or some kind of media bullsh!t excuse like that. maybe he found god
