I tried your thing and I have two results;
-I tried doing it on a territory which had already high density. The density went up, but only a little. That means that the turf color change a tad, but not completely dark purple.
-I tried doing it on a territory with low density. It gave a grey 'hood.
Anyway, I will replace 'rip-off' by 'small variation'. What that means is that glitches' variations doesn't deserve a thread of their own. That means that you should post your discovery in Landstalker's thread. If you still don't get it, I will change my words; 'Yours' is a tiny variation, if working at all (there's only you claiming to have it working, as of now), of my glitch giving territories to Ballas and Vagos. I guess I will also repeat myself, I am Landstalker.

This glitch was not meant to be tried on High-Density territory. It's weird how you got those results because every time that I do it, I always do it on low-density territories and they end up turning dark purple or dark yellow. You are probably doing something wrong because I've never gotten a grey hood before. Make sure you followed these steps: -Wait for your hood to be under attack -Quickly go to a low density territory you got using the "Hood Abuse Glitch". -Activate the "All Peds Are Gang Members" cheat code. -Make Enemy gang members attack you in that territory. -Keep them attacking you until the attack is over and you get a message saying "You Left the hood unchecked. You lost influence". Then the territory should either turn dark purple with a tiny bit of GSF density or dark yellow with a tiny bit of GSF density as well. If you don't believe that this glitch gives high density territory to your rivals, I have proof of it working. In my first post I put a picture of some of the territories I gave to the Ballas and Vagos. Look here Landstalker, I'm not taking credit for something someone else found. And I realized you found a glitch very similar to this. It's the glitch that you have to lure the attackers into a GSF territory and keep them there until the attack is over right?? Both of these glitches are very similar, and some can even say they are identical but they are still different. Different steps and different requirements but almost the same results. How about this, you play around and test my glitch and I'll do the same with yours. We give eachother feedback, and who knows, we might even discover a better, easier, more effective way of doing this glitch. If anything, I don't want to take credit for the idea of this glitch, just my version of it thats all. Give my version of the glitch a chance and if you have any questions, feel free to ask me. I don't like ending up bad with people in this website because I know everyone here has something interesting to offer. So sorry for the attitude, and lets just play some GTA: San Andreas!!

| QUOTE (Nukey Shay @ Friday, Jul 22 2011, 12:23) | I don't understand...what advantage does this have over just creating new territories with high ped density via ric-013's codes? Nearly all of those are given to rival gangs initially.
I'd like to see codes that make problem areas easier to trigger (such as the underwater/on top of bridges/buildings territories). Those are a real hassle to take over. | Well you are aware that not EVERYBODY has a cheat code device right? This glitch is mostly for people who don't have a cheating device because this glitch can be done without them. Now, for my Extremely Easier Way to do this Glitch, I like this glitch because the thing I don't like about the Territory Glitch Codes is that they give out random, unorganized territories to Ballas and Vagos. I'm not saying it's not a good code, because it's an awesome code, I just don't like the fact that it's all messy. So what I do is I use this glitch to give Ballas and Vagos specific areas so it looks much more organized. I don't like seeing gangmembers EVERYWHERE that I go, so I only give territories to gangs that I'm ok with seeing gangs in. Well that code will help a lot but why in the world would you want to take over a territory in the water or on top of a building in the first place? It's not like your gang members are going to spawn there? That's another thing I don't like about the Territory Glitch code, that it gives territory where pedestrians do not spawn in. But anyways, what I'll do in that situation, is that I'll recruit 3 Ballas/Vagos and take them to the territory and kill them. When the gang war is triggered, go to the closest road or sidewalk or any other place where people spawn and wait for the 1st wave of attack to appear. If the nearest ped-spawning areas is out of the gang war zone, then quickly kill the wave of attack then quickly go back to the war zone and redo everything again until you win the war. Try it out

| QUOTE (rhans @ Thursday, Jan 26 2012, 14:00) | | I don't know if many other people had trouble getting a new territory via hood abuse glitch when it was somewhere quite far from the area which was attacked, liked i did. Anyway, thanks to the mixing territory glitch i was able to get a "Rodeo" territory under attack and from there i could get a territory in Flint county (Flint intersection to be more specific). Now about the trouble I am having is to get it under attack, it seems that this territory is harder to get under attack than the others which were created in Los Santos. I could get under attack once, but then never again (when that happenned i was actually standing inside Los Santos and not in Flint County), so my question is if anybody know if there is a easy way to get a territory outside los santos to get attacked (I couldn't reach San Fierro nor Las Venturas yet, maybe they don't work the same coutry territories do). |
Look at my post, I explain how to get any area under attack Updated Territory Glitch

When you first create it, it will be too weak. You need to repeat the process, to get deeper shade of green. And you need bordering territory of an enemy gang. At Flint, it can pose some problem, not many zones do border with it.

It should work, the only areas it won't work on are territories already occupied by other gangs like Rifa, Aztecas, Triads or Da Nang. | Um, when I did the glitch I pressed the detonator at the aztecas hood. And it turned green, and Grove street Members are spawning there. So, (Not saying you're WRONG,) but you've mistaken. And if you want to know, I have greatest hits version For ps2.

The regular hood glitch where you obtain a light shaded GSF territory will work on any territory but my new glitch where you create a new territory for either Ballas or Vagos will not work on already taken territories.
