Luckily, I'm in the point of my graduate studies where I'm not doing courses anymore; it's just strictly research. I was, however, in charge of giving a lab exam and then marking it, which took forever.
I can remember being in undergrad and hating exam period. It would be the 10 days of the semester where I would be at the library for 12 hours straight, working out examples, reading my notes and the textbook, only taking breaks to piss and have a quick bite.
I still remember my last final in undergrad. It was MATH 432 - Intermediate Ordinary Differential Equations. The course was a bit different from other math classes I had taken in that it was a lot more theoretical (abstract) than just simply, "Take this ODE and solve" - it was a course meant for math majors, not physics majors. Anyways, we had two hours to do the exam and after 90 minutes, I was pretty confident in my answers, so I took the test up to the prof, who knew this was my last final; he smiled and asked if I double checked my work and I answered in the affirmative.
I left the exam room and as soon as I got outside, I just burst out screaming, "YES!" I was so happy I was finally done my B.Sc. Within 20 minutes, I was drinking.
[EDIT] For MATH 432, I got the only A. It was nice being a physics major sticking it to the math majors on their own turf.

Which ones are you taking? They're so worth it. I took I think 8-9 of them and got so many credits out of it. |
I've taken 4 tests in the years prior, and took AP Literature, Psychology, and Calculus just last week (which I'm feeling pretty strongly about). Tomorrow I'm taking US Government and French (which I'll probably fail, je crois), and I'll have the Microeconomics test this Thursday. What score did you have in order to receive credits and which tests have you received credits for? Some colleges require a 4 or a 5 to get credits so I'm trying my best to get at least a 4 on the ones I'm taking.

The school I go to only takes 4 and 5. The AP language tests are ridiculously hard. I've spoken fluent Spanish since I was around 15-16 and I took the AP Spanish exam in my junior year and I think it was seriously the hardest exam I ever took. It was harder than Physics B imo (I got a 5 on Spanish but the curve is crazy, I got a 3 in physics so no credit) The other good thing further than credits is you get out of the intro classes. I got f*cked with eco because I only took AP Macro and not AP micro, and while I got the generic credits, I still had to do eco 101 even though I was well above the course in terms of my personal knowledge, since the economics I'm pursuing is more of a macro field rather than the micro field simply because I'm not going into business or anything. US gov is ridiculously easy, make sure you know the specifics of Congress and the EOP agencies. Remember this reason for the free responses/money - "to control spiraling election costs" and "to level the playing field" , against regulating campaign spending "puts it in the hands of unregulated interest groups who will find ways around the laws regardless", and "unconstitutional by many peoples' standards". I swear to god every practice test, and the year I took it also, featured the same exact free response on money in politics. Know those reasons by heart, lol.

Heh that makes me feel better about AP French, especially since I'm not fluent in French at all! I'll probably take French again in college though since I feel I need to improve regardless of how I'll do on the AP test. | QUOTE (Irviding @ Monday, May 14 2012, 17:59) | | The other good thing further than credits is you get out of the intro classes. So Econ 101 is like an introductory or a general Econ class and you didn't get credit for it since you had Macroecon? My teacher explained at the beginning of the year about why our school has AP Micro instead of Macro in preparation for college, but apparently I didn't understand it too well lol. | QUOTE (Irviding @ Monday, May 14 2012, 17:59) | | US gov is ridiculously easy, make sure you know the specifics of Congress and the EOP agencies. We went over Congress and the Presidency extensively in the months up until now so hopefully I have it down or otherwise I should be studying instead of coming here though lol. What you said about money makes coming here worth it though! It seems every AP test has some rules of thumb to remember such as how the AP Environmental Science test had "environmental degradation" or "habitat destruction" as some things to put when in doubt.
