I believe I said this about 2040503394 times already, nobody can guarantee anything to you when it comes to GTAIV.
That machine should be very capable at running GTAIV, but to max it you will need to have some luck. On which resolution do you plan to run the game? You have to realize that on sub standard rendering resolutions maxing the settings makes for virtually no visible difference as extra detail can't even be seen.

From the additional gear, you will need a HDD, a DVD/BR drive and obviously the case.

It's better to get a 670/680 I guess. Either way that [w/ 570] will play IV @ 60FPS w/ ENB. smile.gif

Can you suggest some other parts for me then please? And i'd like the HAf 912 plus case or better but not too wide cuz of my desk size etc.

My resolution is 1366x768 but i may buy new monitor but not yet. If i do buy new monitor it will be 1920x1080 24inch i reckon smile.gif

Other parts for what?

On that resolution you should get a very decent experience, while you should keep in mind that pushing view distance past about 30 will probably be not visible on that resolution.

The Haf 912 case is a good choice, I think.

As for the hard drive, it depends on your needs. I prefer smaller ones as they have less platters, so more reliable. Also less to lose if they crap out. Add an SSD later, maybe.

DVD player, sony should be ok.

You will also need some case fans, 120mm and 200mm for that case, I think.

I prefer PWM fans for near the cpu:

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/120mm-akasa...er-pins-1500rpm

This 200mm is not pwm, but good for top fan:

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/200mm-antec...eed-fan-tricool

You can use a 5 way PWM signal splitter for 5 fans off the cpu fan header, using one of these:

Do i need all 3?

And are you at least 98% sure it is compattitive with all of the other stuff?????????????

Yes, one of each for now. You may wish to add more, maybe another strapped to the arctic 13 cooler and one for the side panel to take heat from the graphics card.

Fans are compatible with all motherboards using standard headers.

By the way, I should add, that the prolimatek megahalems cooler in the Overclockers bundle is a lot better than the arctic freezer 13 on the scan one.

Scan may be using the Arctic cooler 13 pro, which is a lot better, from the picture of the bundle, it may be.

That will play "maxed out" at 1920x1080, if you wish.

I would not put all the sliders up to "max", though. I would put all settings on high, turn off night shadows, view and detail distance about 30 and 50. That way you get maximum performance with great graphics.

The i7 wont make any difference to the cooling solution.

There is onboard sound, built into the motherboard, so you dont need a sound card. However, a pci sound card will have much better quality. I recently bought an Asus Xonar dg for about £20 and am very impressed with it in comparison.

Ok thanks. Is that sound card compattitive with my build? And is it on scan.co.uk?

Thanks dud.
