When i play in GTA 4 i run then stop and bring up my phone and 99% it freezes then goes to the desktop when im walking it doesnt happen.

EDIT:Seems to happens without trying to use my phone its like my CPU isint loading the game fast enough.

maybe you have too much mods installed ?? try with a lower resolution and without the deep of field

I have only a few minor mods installed which barely affect the game but it freezes after loading so much its getting almost unplayable.

Which mods do you have? Are they all made for the game version you're using.

I have this one racetrack map that might be a problem. Other are just a Timecyc and car mods.

You should restore original files, that's the only way to be sure.
