All of this will be completely moot if the wanted level system remains as was from GTA IV. If you wail on a skunk with your baseball bat, in the middle of the night miles away from civilization, and you get a star, hunting game will just be nothing but an annoyance.

Of course, if there is a trooper or there is a witness nearby, I see what's wrong with it. Basically, in RDR, hunting is an acceptable practice. I can't necessarily say the same for the mountain ranges by present day Los Angeles. Not to mention, again, that the wanted level system will play a huge role as well...

Wouldn't it be epic if you could force a mountain lion or a wolf into your car or truck and then release him on the streets of Los Santos! lol

In RDR, I used to make bears chase me into towns where they'd start killing people. Luring them to a city would be awesome.

I hope they have wildlife in this game. It would add so much more fun.

Don't forget that it's very possible that we won't even see any other animals other than dogs, birds and such.

Animals would be so cool. I really hope they're in the game. As for not seeing them in the screens... well the only screenshot I'd expect to see some animals in, is the parachute one. However, I don't think we'd see them spawn from the height of that pic and, and, maybe they're in there but not to the extent of RDR 'cuz the area is way more developed than the early 1900s. Just a thought.

It was more towards your "it wouldn't add to gameplay" comment...because that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. That's like saying "putting more things in for people to do will not add anything to the game", it just makes no sense god dammit!

They wouldn't add much, I can't really imagine going and hunting down animals when there would be heaps more fun things to do. I imagine the only thing they would do is get in the way of my vehicle. Plus shooting them you would probably get stars anyway and that would be annoying.
