There's only one kind of green, and that's the dark green. There's no light green as far as I'm aware.
The only thing that comes in my mind is that white-greenish color that happens when opponents want a gang war over a hood you've already taken over - when the red light flashes over that territory. If you don't go fight immediately, or save before doing so, it'll turn into white-green, which means that they've barely taken it back.

When they counter-attack your territory a Trick to use if you can't (or don't want to) fight:
Get a sub-mission vehicle (Firetruck/ambulance/Police Vehicle/Pimp Mobile/taxi) and start the sub-mission and cancel it.
Or, Save Game.

You may note that Street Dealers and Gang foes will appear more numerously too. This can be used as an advanage.

If you use the detonator trick on whatever area you want to be influence, the area will be light green but keep repeating the trick & it will become dark green.

If you look at the gang colours on the map, you'll see that Willowfield, Playa Del Seville, Santa Maria Beach and other places have a lighter shade than e.g. Ganton.

Yes, but I do believe that's unchangeable. I think it might depend on the gang activity.

There are 4 shades, the darker the territory is, the bigger gang activity. Lightest turfs are Santa Maria Beach, Verona Beach or Playa del Seville (about 10 hood density), Willowfield is 20, Temple and Idlewood 30, Ganton, Glen Park, Los Flores etc. 40

Well, the shade does depend on the gang activity as gang members will spawn more frequently in a darker shaded territory.
You can, however, make them darker with the 'hoods abuse glitch.

Territory density will raise a bit (by 10?) even if you will defend the hood from attacking gang (That showed them, the area remains yours...)

I'm pretty sure there's two shades of green, at least. I know that areas like Willowfield, Santa Maria Beach, Verona Beach, Commerce and north-east of Rodeo are definitely lighter. But as far as I'm aware there's no way too change them. Although I do have 100% territories taken, so I don't have the chance to defend them if that makes them darker. smile.gif

I think what Miromiro means is that the territories in the game you can't change the density. Unless you use the satchel trick.

Wrong.

you can either use....

(A) The Satchel Trick

OR

(B) The Territory Glitch that RIC-013 made.
