I would have asked these questions before ordering it but whatever.
You Have used an Android phone before? I am presuming Yes by your HTC and they are good, great functionality, Android 4.0 is good i suppose, not overly different to earlier versions but it does have improvements for sure, browser is fast and everything works, also make use of Swype Swype works brilliantly on 4.0 and is a good, fast way of typing once you get used to it.
Android phones have terrible desktop integration though, syncing contact ect is pretty cruddy, don't waste your time with it, drag and drop is about the best way to do that.
As for your specific phone, well it has a good processor 1Ghz is on the higher end of the spectrum, plus 1GB of ram which is a lot, multitasking like a breeze and that's probably the main considerations covered, it should run GTA III pretty well if you're interested in that, so yes it is powerful. Motorola has dropped off the scene in Australia, but they develop a lot of the technology in smartphones today, they are more behind the scenes but i would say a good chunk of Motorola is in every smartphone except for Apple so i would expect them to be reliable.

Got the phone yesterday, and its great.
I did some reading up on it before purchase (mostly amazon reviews), just figured I'd see what others thought. I installed GTA 3 and it plays great (seems strange that a phone can play a PS2 game) and Carnivores (free) and that almost amazes me more, it looks better than it did on computer (or atleast what I remember)
I'm a bit confused though, it was advertised as coming with 10 free EA games (Dead space, NFS Shift, NFS HP and some others) but I have not found any. It mentioned using MotoLounge to reedeem them but there is nothing called Motolounge that I found on it. Not a big deal, just confused a bit.
So when the android 4.0 update is out I should update it to it?

I would recommend contacting your phone company, or closely looking for the motolounge app, it may be under a different name hence contacting the company, and even if you don't mind, you should be getting all the features advertised. Yes, update to 4.0, there is no reason not to.
