Hi I heard that the .dff models for the pc and the ps2 are the same for GTA 3. So when I tried to install a car mod in GTA 3 for the ps2 the game loaded but my game would crash whenever I got close to my modded car. Also for the ps2 in the models folder there are GTA3.img, GTA3_1.img, GTA3_2.img, GTA3_3.img GTA3_4.img, GTA3_5.img GTA3_6.img GTA3_7.img GTA3_8.img GTA3_9.img, GTA3_10.img and GTA3_11.img. So to mod the ps2 version do I delete all the extra GTA3.imgs or do I mod them all. When I modded them all the game loaded but crashed whenever I got close to my modded car.

You sure? Maybe you talking about xbox and android version of III? For me, if i try to replace model file for PC (extremely low-poly ofcourse, without texture) to ps2 - it's never working... Anyway i know how to mod txd and it's actually working.

As far as I know it's not possible, there's a program that converts PS2 > PC but not the other way around.

PS2 and PC DFF's are compatibile...? Since when? I mean it would be great to have PS2 Objects ingame. Because the PS2 Version is more detailed.

Not really... Only xbox version is much better, but ps2 is the most "alpha" version, then other versions. And yes - dff have many differences.
