The problem is that you couldn't wait a damn 20 minutes so you had to bump the thread and double-post. Anyway...

Best: The Exchange
Worst: Sayonara Salvatore, simply because you have to kill him yourself. Dammit Rockstar!

Totally agree here... Salvatore was my favorite character in the series.

The R3 missions suck $#!+ through a straw. I'm playing through GTAIII for the second time now (lost all my save data from all 5 completed PS2 GTA games on the memory card for some reason).

Attempting the R3 without an in-game map is the one of the two bad things about this game. The other is the random amount of time between targets - 45 seconds to get from Francis International to Wichita Gdns? WTF? I recall that completing all three R3 missions took me twice as long to complete than the rest of the game because of it.

Agree, Vigilante in Shoreside sucks (as that was the mission you were talking about, right?)

Well, I think that kill is justified. He tried to kill you first.

There is no worst mission for me, had I not tried hard enough to get 100% I probably would have mentioned one, but nowadays all the missions are pretty easy for me.

YES! The time R3 missions gave you was measured according to the destination displacement rather than the length of road between it and you. Too many times have I been forced to go ramp it off of that annoying wooden bridge next to the airport, in a firetruck, and end up flipping the bloody thing and having to start again.

Vigilante and Firefighter don't have to be completed in one run. I don't think I have ever put out twenty fires or killed twenty criminals in one run, except for the vigilante with the menu trick on PC maybe.

What's that trick about exactly?

If you press the Escape key when you are near a criminal's car he\they will stop and get out of the vehicle.

Works on PS2 too, if you're wondering. biggrin.gif Just press start when near a criminal. They'll hop out for you to run over. Don't let them get back in another car though, since the Menu cheat won't work on a non-mission car.

Another is to park the police car in your garage, walk outside, enter the "destroy all cars" cheat, and walk back in to the repaired cop car and reset the 60 second timer. Have another criminal spawn, walk out, destroy all cars, rinse and repeat.

Best: The Exchange. The ultimate "My name is Inigo Montoya" moment... from a mute.

Worst: Last Requests. I hated Maria Latore with every fiber of my being after that mission. Still do.
