ahhh...well that sucks. i just wanted the bonus games. im too far into level 2 now....i guess ill just do as many as possible (for fun) and in the end i can always use the code to unlock the areas i should have been able to re attempt to unlock...

This is really very annoying , I collected 49 tokens in the first area , and I do not know where is the last one , but I took number 13, I do not know what to do????

Do the "Tutorial" mission where you start the first area, when you finish it youll get the missing token and a S-Uzi Machine Gun from the dude who gave you the mission

Ok so can anyone tell me what this game is like? By the time I even started playing GTA, Vice City was already out, and GTA III, the game I had, was old. I never did get to see I or II or what they even where like or anything. I know the graphics for I was bad, but I have heard differing accounts on II, I heard they were similar to III, and others say they were similar to I. Also how much different was it then III?

It's top-down style, which means it's more like GTA1 than GTA3. It has much better graphics and physics than 1 though.
It has much variety of weapons (with some unique ones such as electro gun). Same goes for the cars, there is much to choose from (though there are no bikes) and what's more, every district has its own unique vehicles. There are 3 districts, every one of them has 3 gangs ruling it. Districts work sort of like different cities it GTA1 - there is no direct access between them, you choose them from main menu.
Graphics are great for such old game, in doesn't feel that much outdated. Gameplay is excellent, much improved from the old GTA1.

On overall, it's definitely worth checking out. Especially in multiplayer mode.

Pause the game for a few tokens and you'll see the number of tokens you've colected.

F6 on PC

I think I've found a way for the 'impossible token' #19 in residential sector.
It works like this: take a Stretch Limousine, drive up the stairs (use the handbrake trick, it might take some time, the turns are quite sharp for a limousine), drive over the alleys, which will work just fine using a limousine, drive past the kill frenzy and park the limousine in front of the gap where on the other side the token is waiting. Now get out the limo, walk down the stairs (dont jump, you will die) and get another car, a nimble and quick one, like a Furore GT. Now drive that car up the stairs to the limo and give the limo a firm push. The limo will get stuck in the gap and after that you can just jump over the limo to the token.

hah i thought of something similar to the above poster thinking maybe the limo would get stuck and then i would be able to jump. i moved the limo forward then jumped out of it to remain safe but the speed wasnt enough i suppose so it just fell down. i got up there again with the limo and this time i just went all the way forward and right before i hit the other wall i jumped out of the limo midway and got there successfully

I use teleport cheat from GTA 2 trainer to locate every tokens that is available in Anywhere City. It's better than using vehicles or other methods to collect the tokens because some tokens are difficult to reach or obtain so teleport makes it easier especially on height buildings and impassable areas.

the tokens don't save with the rest of the game?

In the PC version, they save whenever you save the game. I think they don't in the Play version.
