I had restarted on the SA version but there is to many hard coded issues that do not allow for the freedom we had with the VC Engine version in how we hacked almost all what was needed to allow for the size of the map, It's possible to get the map working with the SA Engine but the trick is to reduce all the objects to under 18000 objects for the SA Engine. And this is very hard to do..
LC, VC and SA combined out of the box use around 42000 objects and where some models share the same model names. but in SOL i've already cut this down to 24000 objects. if you want everything included maps and interiors then we need to think about remodeling and I had started to remodel all the maps starting with VC reducing the objects to a round 2000 objects.
If I can do the same to LC and SA use the bunk of what is left then it's possible.
I am working on 2 versions of SOL for a reason, but for now I am working on the infusions version (VC and Rage) where there is a mix of LCS, VCS, SA, LC, VC, and beta map extras to make a unique and new playable map.
So this is a start but will take a very long time to complete.
