On the mission ''Blood Brothers'' Francis blackmails niko and orders him to kill his brother Derrick. Then when niko is on his way to where the metting takes place between the two brothers, Derrick then asks niko to kill Francis. Niko then goes ahead and kills Derrick or Francis.

He then turns up to the funeral like nothing happened

He was close with the McReary family at this point in the story and none of his brothers even liked him (Francis) or considered him to be part of the family.

So, what i dont understand, and my question is, why didint niko tell Packie or Gerry that Francis had been blackmailing him ?

Well if you killed Francis,Niko probably thought that they were still grieving and that they didn't need to know that he was as bad a person as he was.

And if you killed Derrick,Francis would not want anyone to know that he himself had Derrick killed.So I guess he would of had Niko arrested.Or maby,again,Niko wouldn't of wanted Packies family to know because they were still grieving.

I always kill Francis,he's an ass hole.

Very good topic and question I must say.

By the time "Blood Brothers" happens, Gerald is taken in by the cops, you never see it, but that's the main reason why he isn't around or shown. It happens right after "I need your clothes..." so for Packie, we know he hates Francis, or at least, prefers Derrick over Francis.

Yeah, but a nice thought, having Niko calling Gerry about it. He is somehow the "mastermind" in the McReary family.

Thanks, it just seemed really strange how Niko could just turn up to the funeral like that knowing that he was the one responsible for Derrick or Francis' death and why he did not tell anyone about the situation. I know Niko is a cold-blooded killer, but he still has feelings and in terms of this scenario, it would seem a lot better to resolve it without any violence (ironic, i know seeing as its GTA). I felt kind of awkward hanging out with Packie after killing his brother and if i had the choice, i would squeal on Francis instead.
