Voyage.

Both films are incredibly ridiculous in terms of premise - one involves a moon stock full of moon men, and the other involves burning rocks to create oxygen. At least Voyage set out to be an incredible fantasy from the outset.

Artfully done with a magician's eye for trickster detail, it's one of my favorites and has been seen in countless forms of pop culture ever since its creation. So fun, fantastic, and arguably the invention of filmic sci fi.

RCoM - It's a fantastic film and the criterion Blu-Ray looks incredible, but it's really deflated in this matchup.
