2011? They've been previewing NSX replacements for the best part of a decade. I saw one at the NEC in about 2005. That wasn't a hybrid, though, but the aesthetics weren't that different. Pretty sure that was the one that evolved into the Acura JGTC GT500 racer. | I was talking about this specific body design. First one that looked like this was made in 2011, it appeared in Avengers too. Prototypes were being tested in 08 already, but i dont think they looked like this.

And apparently, as far as i could gather, the whole hybrid system is only in place to regulate all 4 wheels seperately, as a supporting power source which acts as advanced 4WD technology. Thought this was quite interesting. I mean, a 3.5 lt V6 with additional support from hybrids powering each wheel, that would make for some serious handling. But i could be way off tbh, i'm not sure i was paying attention
