do you know about any good sniper games? where the main focus is on sniper rifle assassinations.
could be an ego shooter, but with a stealth attempt.

By that logic Battlefield 3, GTA IV, Mass Effect and Fallout are all sniper games, that's not what he's looking for in the slightest.

OT: Might try Sniper: Ghost Warrior, it got mixed reviews, but from what I've seen it handles it's intent rather well and looks damned good doing it too.

I too suggest Sniper Elite.Best game of that thematic.Also sniper levels in COD 4 and WAW.

I've heard that after a while the game goes into a Call of Duty-gear, but the first parts of the storyline is pure sniping. Not sure if this is true, so you might wanna try it out first before buying.

My mate had that on the Xbox along with the rifle. Made an interesting competition at parties, we just played the shooting range and posted high scores.

No idea how but I apparently won it when sh*tfaced. Can't remember..

I do believe my local bar has that arcade machine.

Anyways, go for Sniper: Ghost Warrior. I never played it, but anything is better than having more useless bush wookies taking up spots in the servers on Battlefield 3 and BC2. Actually, they were fun in BC2 since I was able to snipe them back with an Uzi, and I was also able to turn them into Christmas trees by shooting tracer darts onto them.
