After two years, my existing phone contract is up in about a month. I'm looking for an upgrade, but I'm not really sure what to go with. I'm limited to Telus's slection of phones. I thought about getting an iPhone, but with the iPhone 5 just around the corner, now would be a terrible time to buy a 4s. Also, I have big fingers, so touch screens and I don't really get along that well. Although I guess there's not really much one can do about that since practically every phone nowadays is a touchscreen. So, iPhones aside, that leaves me with an Android device. I don't really know much about them, so I don't really even know where to start looking. I don't want to play games on my phone or have a farting app or anything. I'm looking for something that's good for normal use such as lots of texting, and the occasional phone call. Also looking for something that is email friendly as I get close to 500 emails a month between school and work. It's not a deal breaker, but I'm looking for something that also has a decent camera in it as I frequently have to use my phone to take pictures of evidence and items I seize while working. So yeah, I'm having trouble deciding, so if anyone could help me out and give me some suggestions it would be appreciated.

| QUOTE (Ryan @ Tuesday, Jul 31 2012, 17:01) | | Also, I have big fingers, so touch screens and I don't really get along that well. | I know with the iPhone 5 coming out soon, the 4S wouldn't be the best choice, but with regards to the touch screen, it's actually not that bad. It will take some getting used to at first, but eventually, it's a breeze to use. Trust me on that - I guarantee you my fingers are fatter than yours and I can use my touch screen keyboard on my iPhone like a pro.
Don't let that be a deal breaker, man.
