GTA 4 on PC : been playing online happily for years - now, all of a sudden, (after it says 'status : you have successfuly logged into Social Club')
- I get a message saying:
"Link your Gamertag with your Social Club account "
I linked ages ago, to Games for Windows, also to Xbox.Live .
I click on the button to link gamertag and the webpage doesn't load.

I click the 'remind me later' button instead, and go into play, when I try to play online - it says 'you must be logged into the Social Club' - It told me I was !

I've loaded the update from - http://www.rockstargames.com/support/IV/PC/GFWLupdate/

Anyone know what else I have to do ?

Well Ian, I can only hope for ya this is some temporary issue with their server. I'd recommend waiting for a day or two, by messing around with your system you can probably only fudge up something.

I guess you can try asking on the GFWL forums ((that is the xbox forums) however they'll probably direct you toward R* and that's just going to prove as a dead end.
