For me it is clear that the protag is the guy portraid nad voiced by Ned Luke, he is the only one speaking, for me the others are only npcs doing crimes or some other characters arround the main guy. And this thread is useless, WE DO NOT HAVE TO CHOOSE! Only R* can!

I am pleasantly surprised, since i thought the majority of the forum members were against an elderly, rich and experienced man. Maybe it's because they are the only ones who feel the need to nag about another overstated young black protagonist

I want the balcony guy and some Heat (the movie) inspired missions but I also want some cartel activities, but only as business and the oportunity to build up your emperium them way you want, not a linear story/mission.

Your statement works both ways. We heard a voice in the trailer we never saw ned speak but we assume that he is the voice of the balcony guy. Second we have also seen the Red car guy do more things than ned at this point that looks protagonist related. We see a young black/hispanic character and everyone assumes he is a gangbanger just because he is young and ethnic. For all we know he could be a young guy that grew up in the suburbs who family has been hit hard by economic times. So he is forced to explore the drug trade for money. For all we know he could have been a smart kid with a promising future that all came crashing down. Maybe ned is his mentor and you play the game from both perspectives. We dont have official confirmation from r* who the protag is . Third its a forum to discuss gtav related content. Its called a speculative discussion.
