This thread is made to discuss the new music added and the stations that are updated for TBoGT as well as the radio stations that are exclusive for "Episodes from Liberty City".

Big icon14.gif to Indi. and rimbaud for providing the entire list of songs.

Here are the YouTube links to most of the songs heard on the update:[/b]

Ok I have split shinsta312's post off into a new topic, if you wish to discuss the actual music then use this topic. If you want to make a comment on the "exclusiveness" of the Vice City Radio station then use this topic.

I think that song would likely be in K109. It has that disco vibe to it.

On the other hand, I think IGN put that song in there, not R*.

They did, but IGN clearly has a review copy because Rockstar doesn't do straight gameplay videos. IGN may have used the song because they heard it in the game. Or not. No way to tell.

This is just me saying this, but it's definitely IGN that put it there.

R* hasn't used a lot of well-known songs on the GTA IV soundtrack like they used to in Vice City and San Andreas.

Take on Liberty City's elite, upper echelon of partiers and kingpins to the backdrop of the most influential and successful musical artists to grace the club scene. From Jamaican dancehall to American disco to British pop, and beyond...

I guess that means Massive B will be updated as well. wink.gif

Things got off track in that other topic so I guess I'll just post it here.

I don't get why they added what they have added to Vladivostok FM. I know I'm going to get called out on this, but the Death Metal seemed to at least fit the theme of LCHC somewhat, this just seems like a clash of styles.

Is it just me, or does Fernando Martinez sound strikingly similar to Jon St. John(Duke Nukem)?

This sucks, you know why? Because Vice City FM is Exclusive to Episodes Of Liberty City. Those who are downloading the game on Xbox Live, which is like 85% of all of us on here will not get this station. Damnit, why would Rockstar do that? You think they would cater more to the people on The Marketplace than on a physical copy.

I think the Music we've seen so far is pure sh*t (with the exception of Pjanoo and Roxette). And putting that Northern Twat on Vladivostok has ruined a once good station in IMO. It's an Eastern European music station FFS!! like not only does it not fit at all but he is annoying as hell.

OI! Thanks for calling us a Northern Twat. I do agree though, how is a Western European House station fit in with an Eastern European Pop station? Going from a Russia theme to a badly done Mancunian theme with a DJ who sounds more from Bolton than Manchester!

I knew Rockstar would add another genre to a radio station, I just didn't expect it to be Radio Vladivostok. At least as far as LCHC goes, its not unheard of for a radio station to have a show dedicated to a different style of music but for Vladivostok, this is still a bit too odd.

I knew Electro Choc and The Studio would have new music. While I could only picture DJ Karl to host The Studio and nothing else, I kind of expected a female British DJ to host a show on Electo Choc over some Italian guy. Still can't wait for more music and which other station will add more music since it would be hard to believe that only four would be updated, let alone just those nine songs added.

If they follow The Lost and Damned, then only FIVE stations will be updated, we know four of them, Integrity 2.0, K109, Electro-choc and Vladivostok FM.

Vice City FM should not be included as that's a bonus station for EFLC, so we still should have one more station getting updated, if not, then we did just get f*cked over by EFLC.

Well no, with the money we paid for TLAD we got 5 Radio Stations updated, Four Music and One Talk Station. If for the same amount in TBOGT we only get Three Music Stations and One Talk with the fourth Music Station being held off for EFLC, then we are getting less for our money. Rockstar have done an Activision on us.

What if they don't have enough space? Ever thought about that? Maybe we are getting different stuff instead.
