I was wondering if anyone has a max script I could use to export 2dfx positions [relative to my model] so I can add lights to my models? EG street lights.

I used to use a script written by Webslayer many years ago on these boards. But unfortunately that script does not work with 3DS Max 2012, and just crashes on export.

I have seen people saying they use Kams scripts to do this, but I’ve looked and can’t seem to figure that one out [tutorials?]

So basically I have bridges with lights on them, and need the xyz cords so I can add lights in the 2dfx section of my ide files

This mod is for GTA3, so dex’s script won’t work [i think]

You want a script that prints only x,y,z?
this will print selected objects coords to listener. so if you place dummy objects around a model where you want your fx then select them, press the button and coords will be in listener.
