Twice I got disqualified because I had a piece of crap car that flipped over and blew up on the first run and barely made it up the hill!!!! On the second try was in first place when I accidentally hit a police officer and making it out of a turn and it flipped over again and I got busted because CJ wouldn't get of the freaking car!!!! It's race not a junk yard contest can't they give me a halfway decent car instead of some heap of crap clunker hooptie????!!!! And it'd be nice of I could start in the front instead of the back in order for me to win easier??!! Now that I've vented, I'm going to sleep.

You just need to focus on the race, slow at the corners, watch for any obstacles, and do the best not to flip over. These are the basic tips I can give you.

The start is alright, but just after you pass the Vinewood sign the hills and corners can be pretty hazardous unless you brake and drive carefully. Also learn how to release the gas and forth in corners. Don't think too much about getting first if you just started the race. You'll really end up crashing your Sunrise. If the corner is really tight, you can drift if you want.

I recently had there problems too... damn, yeah, you get a sh*t car there and everyone else gets a great car like Blista Compact and so on.
But I found a funny and fair solution.
Get a Minigun. Then start the race. Good is that you select the minigun before starting the race. Then right after the countdown, get out and destroy every rival car with the minigun. Enjoy the race against yourself. I did it and it was very easy. You get 3 wanted stars, but that is a piece of cake compared to the rival racers.

There's that one part in the race track where you go downhill, then there's a slight left curve as you go across a bridge. Most of the time, the AI cars go way too fast here and end up wrecking themselves - usually only one or two make it through without falling to the road below. If you take it slow, you'll be fine as long as you have nobody directly behind to push you, and you will possibly gain a nice advantage over the opposition.

If you have problems with this, Backroads Wanderer will be hell... It's even harder (as Winewood is indeed quite hard).
