Well, in the specific context of child on parent violence maybe things are getting worse and maybe kids these days are sh*ttier than previous generations of kids but I don't like to fall into that "back in my day things were different" vortex because older generations seem to always lay that trip on the newer ones. I think kids are just generally sh*tty during a certain portion of their childhood and I remember being a little asshole myself during a good chunk of my own childhood so I can't be too quick to judge the kids these days. What it really boils down to is people who have no business reproducing bringing children into this world which is why I'm super duper pro choice. Some people just really need to cancel that fetus because I don't want to have to deal with their little f*cked up mistake 20 years from now when they're sticking me up in a Walmart parking lot.

Trust me...that "back in my day" thing gets harder and harder to avoid the older you get.

We were all little assholes as kids. As much as younger folk tend to annoy me, I have to remember that I was once that annoying.

From where I sit it isn't a general bust on the entire up-and-coming generation. There are always going to be bad apples. It also may very well be a numbers game. In my lifetime alone the world population has doubled - that is a lot of f*cking people. With more people you are going to get more crazies...simple statistics.


And now you know why I chose not to have any children.
