I've had GTA-San Andreas on my PC now for about 2 years, it was one of the first things I installed, it got forgotten but recently I've come back to it. I've been enjoying this recent rediscovery and modding it like I use to, only problem is i noticed after about 2 years of mods and patches it wasn't really performing quite as well as I thought it would. Reasoning it was all the mods I had done I simply deleted the folder and loaded the disk back up to reinstall it. Heres where my problems started. Since the reinstall it's been problem after problem. Its things I had completely forgot about such as where the saves or or remembering to run it in compatibility mode that have pretty much ruined it. The first problem was saves crashing the game, after realizing it was a .set file I deleted the whole folder it saves to and the .set, it was located in libraries/documents/[folder] this led to them simply saving to c:users/"user"/appdata/local/virtualstore/program files/gta and the previously deleted folder not being replaced. When the problem still persisted i deleted the c:users/"user"/appdata/local/virtualstore/program files/gta folder too. only the folder reappeared on the next install or startup but without any saves. after searching frantically i found them being saved (even after new installs) in the gta sanandreas files folder in c:program files. Having now realized it wasnt the .set but meerly that I had to run it in compatibility mode the problem had gone. But my files are a mess and no matter how many uninstall/reinstalls I try nothing seems to work, The saves are still saving to program files and SAMI cant even find GTA-SA in the registry. So my question is how do I uninstall this COMPLETELY, so when I install it again it'll install clean like on a fresh machine.
Extra Info: -Windows 7 (64-Bit) -(Only realized I had to run it in compatibility mode about half my reinstalls ago) -Version is 1.0 for GTA-SA
Anyone got any ideas?
