Reformatting hard drive

Player Hater Group: Members Joined: Sep 14, 2012	If i format my hard drive, will i lose my progress in gta 4? or is it saved in my Windows Live account? And if it's saved somewhere in my computer, can someone point me to the folder where my saved games are stored?
