can anyone explain why there is alot more cheats for the ps2 version of gta3 than the pc version?

There's about the same ammount for both as far as I can tell. Unless you count trainers, then the PC version has tons more.

well just of off the top of my head theres the never die when you fall into water cheat which wasnt in pc but was in ps2 but theres loads more

read my post again i dont think you read it properly it says never die when you fall into water which is defiantly not in gta3 pc unless you use a trainer

You do realize that Action Replays/Gamesharks/etc. all do exactly the same thing as trainers, right? They both edit the games memory just like the built-in cheats do. The only difference is that console memory editors are easier for the standard person to use.

A lot of the PS2 cheats on their site looked bogus to me so I searched around some other sites and did not find those cheats anywhere else, such as "Never Die When You Fall In The Water" which says you can swim in the water. Bullsh*t.

I also looked at other "cheats" on their site, more specifically older well known games, such as Super Smash Bros for the N64. In which they have codes posted to for charatcers that do not exist in the game, such as Waluigi and Raichu. Bullsh*t x2. They we're even put into the sequal (not as playable characters anyway).

Find a more credited and accurate place to look for cheats. I recommend GameFAQs.

As for the "which has more built-in button codes?" issue, they both have the same amount (or close to it).
