so, i bought gta iv from steam year ago. i installed mod, and uninstalled it, after that MP didnt work. WAIT KEEP READING! so, i wanted MP so much so i buyed the game from CDON.COM without CD, direct download.. then, same problem... "play" button grayed out, says "social club not available (or unavailable) please try again later." games for windows wont connect to marketplace neither... it just keeps loading and loading and loading omg so, if you guys would help, yes i know its BIT maybe old game, but its good. so i would appreciate help very much... and i have linked rockstar social club to games for windows btw.. so, thats the problem. i appreciate help VERY much. yea, almost forgot, i got windows 7 ultimate x64 bit.

You should post your system specifications.

Have you installed the GFWL update? Try starting the game with xliveless to exclude any RGSC/GFWL issues.

yea i tried xliveless and have updated GFWL dont work and heres my specs: processor: Intel® Core ™ i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40 GHz (8 CPUs) 3.4GHz. heres some more: directX-version: DirectX 11. OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Memory: 16384MB RAM. Graphics Controller: NVIDA GeForce GTX 570. thats the most important info... thanks
