So I was playing for quite some time on multiplayer free roam. I ended up in a game where to my disbelief, a golden buzzard was hovering over. It also had a working spotlight! After a while of following it around, the connection glitched where all the other players leave game. And luckily the golden buzzard was stood right infront of me! So naturally I got in and soon found that it was also indestructible. I later let my friend have a go in it, he tried flying it in to the sea to if see if that would destroy it and it unfortunately did. So that was the end of my golden buzzard on ps3 multiplayer..

I'm thinking it was some kind of hack/mod but does anyone know if it is actually obtainable, perhaps in sone impossibly, ridiculously ludicrous way? All I know is, I want one!

It was. LOTS of modders in GTA IV multiplayer.

Yeah this is the new reality of GTA IV on ps3, hackers, modders, glitchers, etc.

How can the console version be modded though? I didn't think it was possible, and I've played IV and TBoGT for a long time and very frequently and to be honest, this is the first time I've encounter what is possibly a mod.

@Fisciletti: Ohh right, is this a recent thing? Or is it more common in different game modes. I pretty much only ever play free mode. I'm Not interested in modding myself but if this is the case, I'll hopefully be able to fly that buzzard again. The spotlight really sells it for me!

It started this year, it's in all game modes but there are more hackers on Cops n Crooks.

It is a big thing that hit GTA early this year. its called script modding. they basically jailbreak the ps3 with the latest jailbreak and update the gta game data from a memory stick with modded data, then in the game you get a console panel. (i think)

That's not fair! As soon as my PS3 needs repairs (screw and thermal) the mods appear.

Thanks for the replies guys, Hopefully GTA V will be out soon, mod free on console. Until then, perhaps this be an interesting twist on multiplayer - Keeping things fresh.

I've come across modders plenty of times before on TBoGT PS3. Most recently, a modder had made himself invincible, spawned Tony's Schafter and was driving around shooting rockets from it. Ruins the game completely.

I don't understand modders really, unless they are on the PC version that is fine. But I got annoyed when i saw (either on the PS3 or Xbox version) people flying around in different colours of helicopters, with cars from singleplayer charging around the corner at high speed with pistol rockets shooting everywhere.

And I'm not a modder myself as I think it only makes multiplayer a lot more boring. But it really annoys me whenever a mod is flying around.

Oh and does anyone know the glitch of a building in star junction, as yesterday I saw people shooting RPG's everywhere, and it is next to cluckin bell

Thankfully the Free Modes that i've been in hasn't got mods i (well i hope it hasn't)
