Hey guys,

I'm playing through the game hoping to use only shotguns. I've picked up a stubby shotgun and have 16 slugs. I'm also using manual aim and the basic aiming reticule.

However, as far as I am aware, certain missions will require the use of other weapons. I'm not fussed about beating up the Albanians with Niko's red army sh*t, but is there any way to avoid using other weapons?

Can I use the shotgun in the porn shop mission with Dimitri? Is there any way to avoid using sub-machine guns and the like in missions like "Babysitting" for Derrick, etc? Also, what would you recommend as the most efficient way of ramming other cars into shreds without doing too much damage to your own?

I am pretty sure you can switch weapons in all missions.

Not sure if a shotgun would be Ideal in the porn shop mission as the idea is to intimidate him. The best way to always find this out is use a couple of save files and see how it plays out.

For that, get a Patriot and start hitting cars in the side
Or any truck or NOOSE Enforcer, they're pretty strong.

The problem with a shotgun is that it is most effective at close range. Missions that require long range weapons will be difficult when limited to a shotgun. I'm thinking Luck of the Irish, Deconstruction for Beginners, Blood Brothers and Pegorino's Pride (and probably others). Having said that...Good Luck! If you get stuck on one of the missions let me know and I will try to help figure it out. I've played the missions all kind of ways in the past for the MKC!

My choice for a wrecking vehicle would be a Firetruck. It has speed (being an emergency vehicle) and good handling, it is a 4x4 and most importantly it has weight. Firetrucks are easy to find and if you set it on fire you can call for another one!

The disavantage of using a Firetruck is the water canon prevents being able to do a drive-by shooting (useful for popping tyres on your enemies vehicles)

There is a mission where you have to shoot a guy through the window from the roof across the street (can't remember the mission name).

The only way that I know of to do this is to read the number on his telephone with the sniper scope, call him, then shoot him with the sniper rifle when he answers the phone.

I don't think you'll be able to kill him with a shotgun at that range, through a window.

Maybe he'll run outside and you can chase him down ?

The Dukes can easily flip another car by hitting it in the side, and you don't have to go fast.
