I can't wait! I wonder who is going to play Eazy-E, Dr Dre, Ice Cube, MC Ren and DJ Yella. I'm sure they are holding open auditions at the moment. Lil Eazy-E might play Eazy-E, I know that he said in a interview that he would love too.

As long as its honest and true to what happened it should be awesome, If they make up a bunch off stuff to make the story better like they usually do then its not going to be so great.
Wow, it's cool to see so many people with flags from very different parts of the world interested in an NWA movie, this is my first time hearing about it but I sincerely hope they don't f*ck it up. There was a lot of drama and politics involved with that group so I hope all that is really reflected if they're aiming to make a realistic movie about this infamous rap group that influenced so many different genres of music and caused a sh*tload of controversy during their peak.

Wow. This will be interesting. Defo going to head to see this with my mates. I only got in to NWA properly this year so I'm excited. Ice Cube's son could easily play Cube. Hope they get him to do him.

Yeah Ice Cube has two sons and they are both rappers. I think it's 'OMG' who wants to play his dad.
Lil Eazy E really does look like Eazy E so I do hope he plays his dad.
I cant wait for this movie, finally a decent movie i can look forward too and know i will like. I am curious to actually see if this film will be screened in cinemas around the world.

Looking forward to it, release date is unknown and they still have to find actors, so it won't be out till 2013. As long as it's based on true story and not just mainstream make-up cow for milking money it will be great. I definitely want to know more about first g-rap group, so if it's like movie ''Notorious'' for example which was very good in my opinion i will gladly watch it.
I predict that it'll be cheesy and melodramatic. Rappers will try to act. They will attempt to portray themselves as gangstas with a sensitive side. It could be so bad it's good, but really it will simply be too toe curling to endure. The attempts at humor will be predictable and will involve people acting like caricatures. It will contain every cliche known to man.
You can copy and paste this into the next Michael Bay movie thread if you want.

I personal can't wait. However theres something in me saying its not a good idea. I mean, if they cock this up like what Game did to Belly. Then, well. It might rune the whole memory of N.W.A.

After a pretty long wait for a word to come down by Dr.Dre about his new film titled N.W.A: The movie. I have found some sort of news. Check this out GTAForums.
"Negotiations are underway for Universal Pictures to pick up “Straight Outta Compton,” F. Gary Gray’s feature film about the hip hop band N.W.A., from New Line, a person familiar with the situation has told TheWrap"
