I refrain from most of the modes in GTA IV as I generally stick to TMW, TW, CNC and sometimes TDM. Something that I feel could've been improved in multiplayer was being able to toss a parcel out of the car window (i.e. protoype gun, laptop, bag of weed, etc.). I cannot tell you how f*cking pointless it is in TMW when trying to race to the drop point while dodging a barage of enemies, then having to exit my vehicle to hand a box of dope over to some Jamaican drug dealer. It should simply be, hit the L2 to drop the parcel out of the window as if it were a grenade or molotov. Any Joe Blow with no skill can run me over as I step out of my car, pick up the package and deliver it as if he did all the work.
Another thing that bugs me is in TMW is being blamed for killing an escort or destroying a target vehicle. If I had a nickel for every damn time I'm trying to precisely land a bullet in my target's head so I can take his car (the target vehicle), but somebody else is shooting the sh*t out of it, then I land the final bullet before it blows and I'm to blame. I think that is completely ridiculous why I should lose $500 for one bullet. The same thing goes for escorts. I'll be driving Gordon (the escort) to see his whores and my car will catch fire and it blows up; I'll escape, but since Gordon burns to death in
my car, I'm penalized. That's an ultra-nuisance there.
As for a CTF mode being available, I can see that being ruined if you get an asshole into your lobby. What I mean is they can just grab the flag, run it to a Jetmax and just boat it out of the area, thus destroying the game. It's not like COD where you have boundaries on each map so that cannot happen.
