Hey there guys, i was in a GTA race yesterday and found another player called Ghost_Rolly was giving everyone money and doing the annoying tugboat mods and setting players on fire. Anyway i quit after a couple of races, but today when i try to sign in it won't let me connect to the GTA multiplayer server. Have Rockstar banned my account because it's been tampered with? (giving me money, regardless of if i quit once i realised what was going on or not?)

The server is merely down, hopefully receiving a patch to counter these new mods.

It's been down once before and it was brought back up a few hours later.

Just hang in there.

Thanks man! Any chance you could put him on that Modders Hall of Shame you have? His name is Ghost_Rolly and he is in GTA Races, wanna add me on psn? If so send me your name, that way if i see him online i'll just invite you into the game

Over the years the GTA servers have gone down many times, and always come back online.
Relax, Dandino91, you're not the only one having problems. I couldn't connect earlier either.

The Servers are now live and up once again!

I've noticed no changes and there was no downloadable patch, I assume it was just to repair some of the damaged/crashed servers caused by the recent modders.
