As the topic states, should marijuana be legalised?

At least mention what country you're talking about, I'll assume you're talking about the United States so here we go. I'm a liberal, so I believe marijuana should be legalized but only through a doctor prescription. Drug dealing should still be illegal for obvious reasons, but some of the same rules should apply (do not drive intoxicated, do not go to school/work intoxicated, etc). When I went to San Francisco, some of the cops didn't give a sh*t when they saw someone on the busy urban sidewalks smoking a blunt. That must be an explanation of why it's the most liberal city in America and perhaps the Western hemisphere too.

Oh, I was about to say the same thing but I forgot. TAX IT! And forget prostitution, I just watched COPS today and it took place in Nashville, all the prostitutes were hillybilly trash and in Los Angeles it was a bunch of people who didn't even know how to speak English. Why not do prostitution in Mexico if it's legal over there?

I think it should, but I'm pretty sure this has been already discussed in the Debates & Discussion section.
Anyways it should but there should be certain restrictions, like:

• You can't drive and smoke Marijuana.
• You cannot smoke Marijuana in public places.
• It has to have a tax.

I'm not really feeling creative at the moment, so I just came up with those three. Any more ideas?

Prostitution? No way. The reason why is because there would be too much exploitation of women and stuff. Women would be kidnapped or a abused or sold (more frequently, but that's another matter to discuss). It would result in chaos and I just think it's a definite no in my opinion. I know that what you choose to do with your body is your business, but there are limits to it (I believe).

Listen up, Marijuana is perfectly harmless itself. It's a plant for god's sake. Now, I understand that it gets you 'high' and when you are 'high' (from what I've heard) you loose (some) control of yourself. Kind of like being drunk. Therefore people think that it kills neutrons or whatever. It doesn't, in fact I'm pretty sure that I read somewhere it could result in a positive way towards the brain and it's neutrons and cells and whatever makes it work.
Cannabis itself is not addictive, but of course people react differently towards different substances therefore sometimes what people do is go on harder drugs, that is the problem. Marijuana is known for opening the gate towards harder drugs, those are which you should definitely avoid.
No, marijuana does not create any type of cancer (that I know of, at least that's what Warlord said once.)

I'm 14, don't go thinking that I smoke it because I don't, nor I plan to smoke it or any other thing. I want to keep clean forever

But I do accept other people's choices and I'm fine with it.
In fact what I think should be illegal is Cigarettes. They're stupid, they make your teeth yellow, give you cancer, kill you, I just think it's god damn stupid to do something as useless as smoking a cigarette. If you wanna smoke something, cannabis it should be

Weed vs alcohol

Weed-get hungry, eat a loaf of bread and drink a liter of cola.
Alcohol- get drunk piss yourself

alcohol- get drunk and make a fool out of yourself stumbling around everywhere.

When you compare Marijuana to legal drugs like alcohol, the long and short term affects are alot less harmful with Weed, for example Weed doesn't destroy your liver or cause a hangover.
