I've read this everywhere in this forum:

Rock star said they won't be doing big DLC like EFLC anymore.

I've asked many times for a link. No one has provided.

Is this an 'urban legend'?

Why do people believe this? My friend Google can't find where this came from...

Weapon Packs, Vehicle Packs, Mission Packs
and the Occasional Episode Pack.

Sort of like RDR DLC, they had these mini ones
Which introduced blackjack, new weapons, new skins
and then a Massive one called Undead Nightmare
that had a whole new bunch of things.

I think GTA V DLC should follow RDR DLC.

Those MP DLC were on the fence on rip offs.

Undead nightmate was worth every penny though.

I hope not I'm really getting tired of these dlcs. The worse DLCs are the day one type dlcs you just know they cut out material out of the game

Well what do you expect? If there won't be massive DLC's, what do you think the DLC's will be? SF and LV?

this is why i think there will be multiple (two) protags in the core game.

Next gen consoles are expected to release christmas 2013 thus leaving no time
for extended dlc on this one. Because when summer comes and the new consoles are
announced people will stop buying games for current gen.

R* not giving us DLCs like TLAD, TBOGT or UNDEAD is just all stupid Speculation besides R* aren't EA. R* think before doing sh*t and they know no one will buy it.

My opinion IV DLC's(EFLC) were waste of time and they were also exclusive for Xbox 360. They could release (maybe) earlier GTA V or Agent.

The same group of people who buy every mappack of Call of Duty..?

But really.. if we consider that those single packs costs around 5€ then all three (weapon, vehicle and mission) would be 15€ together. Just as much as one Episode of IV (TBOGT or TLAD) which contains new weapons, vehicles and missions.
So if R* decied to do it like this with the small DLCs for a small price then nothing would have changed except for that it's not in one package at once.

Of course I prefer the classic method way more than something like that and the chance is much higher that I will also purchase it (I mean something like with IV/EFLC).

Nonsense. The games for current gen would be cheaper if the next gen arrives. And do you know for how long the PS2 still was successful after the PS3 was released?

Waste of time? I.. what? In my opinion TBOGT was even better than the main game.
And (still) exclusive for 360? Do you live under a rock?

Episodes From Liberty City is the best DLC ever made. In some aspects it may be poorly integrated with GTA IV but there is so much value in that package.

I think they'll make smaller packs but those packs will still have missions, weapons, cars etc in. The same variety of stuff per pack just in smaller doses.

If EFLC didnt sell out well, then I highly doubt smaller DLC's will sell decently. I think people that didnt bought it were simply not interested, I dont think it was a price issue, considering the overpriced DLCS's that you can find nowadays..

They clearly dont know what they have missed though wink.gif
