I was reading R* Games GTA III Q&A and I was looking at unanswered questions,
and one was from a user called SpeedClaude saying "Carcer City and Liberty City Connects like a glove",
he also posted this pucture:
http://i.neoseeker.com/mgv/462349-Epsilon%...ull_display.jpg
Now, I looked into that,
And that might me true,
here is also a picture from a GTAForums user I found on Google, don't know who posted it though, but..:
user posted image
Here's the map of Carcer City:
http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/0/3584/...carcer_city.jpg
And here's a map of Liberty City:
http://gtaworld.org.ua/uploads/posts/2009-...ap-unedited.png

Could have Rockstar Games possibly thought making a connection with LC while making Manhunt?
Those Tunnels were always Mysterious to be until now,
Is does Carcer City lead through those mysterious tunnels?

They do fit very well, but I think the 2 closed tunnels were just put there for realism/decoration, so LC doesn't feel like a little island at the end of the world.

Haha, it was me who said that.

Coincidence, that I found you on GTAF? biggrin.gif

Also, Th3MaN1 I agree, but I don't see much of a Realism, it would be realistic even if it didn't exist confused.gif.

Quite possible. You know, now that I think about it, the LCS cover-up with an open tunnel seems really illogical as of the way the two entrances are connected... At least so, after I have seen this map.

Maybe it's just a coincidence, but one wouldn't think two maps fitting one near another perfectly is a coincidence in Rockstar games!

Plus, on Lips 106, Andy sais "In nearby Carcer City". And that indicates that Carcer City is really somewhere nearby, most possible behind the unfinished tunnels.

Yes, I heard that on Lips 106,
also I also heard in GTA IV TL&D one of AoD members said something like "In Nearby Carcer City",
the fact that it fits Perfectly, like a glove, seems very interesting.
I'll get Manhunt ASAP, and see what's beyond LC, I'll take a look at the entrances, the Tunnels might look similar.
It is Very Interesting the fact that they fit perfectly, and the fact that both are Games by Rockstar Game...
Actually, the fact that it's by Rockstar Games itself...

And the design and colors of the maps are also identical.

It can't be just a coincidence.

I'll tell you even more: it isn't!

Only now do I realise the essence of all these connections between Rockstar's games. And it is clearly present in all their games from the Old Days (2001-2003, I mean).

GTA III, Max Payne 2, Manhunt, Bully... They are all connected with those little bits that we fail to see at first.

That's true,
I mean, 10 (11 Soon) Years Passed from GTA III, and 9 From Manhunt,
and not 100 People realised that.
One thing I wonder, it seems like R* planned Manhunt and references of it before GTA III was released (There is a 2 Year gap between their releases, GTA III is Older as stated before).
I hope R* Makes Manhunt Q&A in 2013 of it's 10 Year Anniversary.
I will definitely ask that if it's connected with Liberty City. They Might Finally reveal it.

EDIT: One thing I hope is that I see Max Payne 3 References in GTA V, that would be interesting!

Even if they don't, we already know the answer, I guess. I mean, nothing can stop them from saying "The cities may or may not be connected"!

You know, I dislike Rockstar crew for being too f*cking ambiguous:
"Claude's surname may or may not be Speed"
"It is unknown what exactly happened to Claude" etc.

They are acting like morons, I think. Just come think of it: they created these games, not someone else! I would understand if they said this about The Driver or Saints Row, for example, but their own game!

They're not acting like morons, they're acting like people who want to entice their players to use imagination. It wouldn't be fun if they explained everything, so you make up your version of the story. Same is with the fact that Claude is nameless and voiceless in GTA III, they didn't want to give him a personality themselves but wanted every player to do it for their game.

And that's what I hate. I like when everything is harmonically formed, and there are no loops left to cover up with an ambiguous statement - which is, in turn, different for each person. When everything is settled in one final way, and there are no more ambiguities, no more questions, then and only then will it be a harmonic game - because there will be nothing to cover up.

And although the Rockstar crew are not morons (I really hope), they act to seem like morons sometimes. And I really mean it.

I have more sophisticated requirements for a game, and that is why I may seem critical way over the top. But still, I guess Rockstar did a good thing with the Old games themselves. Back then they knew what they were doing it for. For Fun!

I agree with Arsen, when mysteries are solved, no more conspiracies and no more bullsh*t theories will be there.

I also God Manhunt, very fun, interesting game, I was expecting to cruise walk around the City, Similar to GTA )Dumb me rolleyes.gif ), I was expecting just killing in the whole game Free-Roam, but it's only missions, fortunately, you go around the entire Carcer 'till the final mission. So it is a kind of Exploration. It has this LC Feel, In fact.

I got myself a copy of Manhunt yesterday. But... For some reason, my PC blocks the program, and I can't run the game! cryani.gif

Too bad, so sad. I was so looking forward to playing it! cryani.gif

The patch edits the Hex enabling it for Vista and 7.
The game wasn't created for that, the latest it could run was XP,
simply said, it's one of those old ass games that don't normally support Newer Operating Systems.

Anyways, I installed the patch already, the game works fine... for now!

I'm gonna play it the next time I'm free - today I was busy making a VCS Ultimate Starter Save. For those who are interested, I've already reached 39.1%
