It's a shame this has died |
Well i'm still gonna write the story, after all the sh*t i've had in writing it, i can't let it disappear...
I hope we can revive this. | I hope you do revive this. It's a cool idea

Because GTA has most of the time used made up names. Liberty City = New York, Vice City = Miami etc. |
But London was mentioned numerous times in the gta series | Miami was mentioned in III, then Vice City came out. and everything was paved over and Vice City FL was born as a redux of Miami.

Tommy, the responcibility to keep the thread alive is 02fishera's. I havn't seen him around here THAT much lately, and i think he mentioned ages ago about uni, or work i think it was actually, im not sure one that. I know i've had very little time lately to work on it, though im planning on rectifyin that. As for this topic dying, I'll do my part to try to get my work done - i think i've let this topic (and fisher) down a little. Watchi this space

This are some of the best ideas for a GTA game. I really hope you'll keep doing this, seriously. I also want to make a fanfic like this, and I also wanted to have it in a British city, but in the sixties like GTA: London 1969 or 61. It would be more like a "spiritual succesor" of course. I'm not saying you stole my ideas, you have been here way longer than me, but rather that your ideas are very similar to mine, and I really like them, it inspiring me more to do my fanfic. It wouldn't be in London or any other city, my city would be like a 'generic British city', with features from London, Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool. A complete mash. Again, I hope you keep making this. It's very good stuff.

Don't bury it though, you never know, we may pick this up someday. as for our ideas - you can't copyright a though. Great minds think alike and all that. IF you want to create your own fan fic, head over to the writing discussion, write your story, and post it. wwe'll be welcoming and kind Click here! Also, be sure to read other people's works - giving good feedback on others' works will make more people give feedback on yours! Feel free to read my work for example, and when yours is up, i'll check it out! (u can always pm me when its done)

I'll be starting to set the story up, and I'll finish reading this and your other posts to give me an idea about how to build this proyect the proper way. I've been checking out about life in the sixties, and I'm doing it on that decade because I've always wanted to live in those years, when things were actually more simple, when the world was really starting to get connected. I hope I can reach as far as you did

Look through the writer's discussion and read as many as you can, see what people are doing right and wrong. Most of all though, just go for it. Also probably best to keep this discussion to the WD - check out the Social Club topic - that's for general writing conversations like these, and people would give you advice there too
