GTA SA has been pulled from the marketplace for unknown reasons. It still shows up, but you are no longer able to buy it on there. I thoughts is this may be a sign that there releasing GTA 3, VC and SA on PSN and XBL in updated form. This recently just happened to GTA 3. It was supposed to release on PSN but got delayed for a few reasons and now there not saying much. Maybe an HD collection is in order?

many people don't have them anymore, I do when I am back home but at uni - nope.
And for some it will be broken by now - but I don't see how personally, my ps2 is like a f*cking nokia, but some people manager it.

Like i said, hope this points at an HD collection. I want it for PS3 and X360. It would also be awesome if it found its way onto the PSvita and Wiiu as well.

Wouldn't this be a huge undertakin of assets? I couldn't see R* doin this unless they had nothin planned for a very very long time. As much as I would love this idea to see the light of day my gut reaction tells me this is very far fetched.

An HD version would need an almost complete remake, stop dreaming, at least until V is released. There must be other reasons like there were with III, and III wasn't an HD re-release, it was the original one. All they want to do is to let all PS3/X360 users play the classics.

I remember once a long time ago SA used to by on the XBL marketplace over here, but it got removed.

People are seeing conspiracies everywhere. "OMG, SA was pulled of from Marketplace, OMG, they're gonna make Super Duper HD editions with achievements, beta stuff and action figures of every protagonist in the game." It looks like problem was much, much simplier and there won't be any HD editions in near future.
