I've got GTA IV for a long time ago. My first two savegames are okay, but I recently did a new one. I have a problem: Jacob does not wear his helmet when we're riding a motorcycle. Is not urgent but I have this doubt. He only use the helmet in the mission "russian revolution". is a bug? how I can fix it?
Now in all my savegames is happening the same thing. Another friends and NPC's wear their helmets, Jacob is the exception.
I tried something: I spawn Jacob as NPC with the Simple Native Trainer mod. He wear his helmet, but when we're in an appointment he doesn't do it.
Also I have got a problem with the statistics, for example: the money given to tramps, I give them $10000 but the statistics remain the same. It's strange, my GTA is possessed XD.
The reason I'm worry about losing the helmet is that it may indicate a corrupted savegame

As it was stated in your other thread, it's very probable the savegame is damaged to some extent. Not sure what level of accuracy regarding this speculation you require.

i would tend for a corrupted ide myself . unless the mission is scripted a way LJ just doesn't wear helmet . which ide , i have absolutly no clue

Sorry for my ignorance, but, if I patch my GTA (1.0.4.0) to 1.0.7.0 this bug can be fix?

It's probably not patch related and it shouldn't be treated as a bug.

i was surprised to see bikers with no helmets in game . as i told to myself could americans be so lenient in term of road security or is it a bug ? if in the US one can ride a motorbike without helmet then it's not a bug . but as i'm not USA citizen i can't tell . in France for info helmet is obligatory for bikers same as having the lights turned on ..

I'ts a game ¬¬ and his wear his helmet before. It's stupid but, is that it may indicate a corrupted savegame.
