So hey, it's been a while. smile.gif Since I last posted on here I've sold my MX5, and joined the ultimate driving machine club!

The head gasket blew on my MX5 a few weeks back, so I went out and bought this BMW 323i in Monreal Blue for £775. So far all has been well, hopefully it stays that way. tounge.gif

Here's some pictures, I will take some non overexposed daytime pictures soon but the weather has been gash so I haven't bothered, haha.

Plans so far are to replace the rear trailing arm bushes because they're splitting. (common e36 thing) Also I plan to get rid of the sh*tty aftermarket headlights, and fit original headlights with the CCFL halo rings and projector shrouds, then I'll fit some HID's.

Something like this:

So far though I'm just enjoying it. smile.gif

The car is completely standard apart from the M sport bodykit and interior, M3 saloon wheels and a full Scorpion exhaust system. I will take a video soon because it sounds sweet!

"Contours, are awesome."

Nice to see someone in euroland with a 6 cylinder BMW. Your 323 seems to be about the same as our 325 (170 hp 2.5), whereas your 325's are as powerful as our 328's. Nice cars for sure. Should be fast and fun. Great chassis.

Remember, Bilsteins and H&R race springs will make your car handle like THE sh*t.

Lurch: Seen that video, made me laugh! I WISH I HAD ITB'S

Cursed: Yep, quite a move forward! I still want the Metro back though just as something to play with.

Congrats on the car. icon14.gif lol just don't forget to refresh the cooling system, or else one day your e36 will end the same way as your MX5.

Haha, thanks. smile.gif The headgasket on the MX5 blew because one of the heater hoses split on the motorway and the engine cooked! A nice coolant flush wouldn't hurt though I suppose.

Chris: The insurance is £2400, The MX5 however was only £200 less so it's not too much extra, plus I'm hoping in july when I get my second years no claims bonus it'll drop to way under 2 grand. turn.gif

Lurch: Nah man, only a couple of spair door cards. I think there might be a full spare BMW toolkit somewhere, might rob it to replace the missing tools in my boot.

GB is really a fantastic place where you pay 3x the value of the car in insurance. This angel lights mod is awful, replace it with OEM.
