Thought there would be more talk about how GTA V might be similar to MP3, but I guess I'm one of the first... (other then a character topic)

What really got my attention while playing through, was when I was in a mission near a helicopter. The helicopter flew by right in front of me and plastic chairs and such blew away as it passed. In IV, I don't know that such a force was ever accounted for. Kind of strengthens the theory that wind will be implemented into the physics.

I've also noticed the controls are much better then in IV. The cover system could still use some work (when on the ground and going straight to cover, why make him stand all the way up before crouching...), but I expect most of the cover and shooting system to be different in V anyways.

Haven't made it all the way through the game yet, but it meets expectations. A very polished game with a great storyline and even though I haven't done much online, it looks promising. Which also shows great promise for GTA V in the way of multiplayer.

Anyone else notice details about MP3 that might clue us in to what we can expect of V?

haha. I noticed the same thing about the chairs as well. Just goes to show how much detail R* puts into their games. The game is living up to the hype so far. I'm also excited to see what is announced at E3 in the coming weeks.

Nope, did you see the credits roll during the game's introduction?? Rather a tip off that it won't be like GTA V

You have Sam, Dan, and Les Benzies credited, but they didn't really build the meat and potatoes, Dan Houser helped pen the script. He probably is busy half the time just writing for all the games!! haha

The cover in GTA and RDR are not the best, so yeah, they can always seemingly improve on that end. Wind was an affect within RAGE and Euphoria but not too much, so that might just be something they are expounding on

The update on the physics was a icon14.gif

The fact that the player's wound animations/textures are the same as NPC's damage textures.

I died during a mission due to bring shoot in the face from far by an enemy. Now see, when you die in MP3 it does a little "comic book type" frame-by-frame of your death in slow motion to show you where you got shot, so when I got shot in the face
it was a shock to see a gaping bullet-hole in my forehead with a meaty exit wound in the back of my skull. Made feel like "WHAT!!!! Why did i....DAMN!!! Yea.... I see why I died". Also his wounds seem to hinder him somewhat depending on location to.

And this is all story mode...
