Hi all,

since yesterday, I got a new notebook:

Intel Core i7-2670QPM @ 2.20GHz
Nvidia GT555M Optimus (2GB) & Intel HD
8 GB RAM
WIN 7 HP

I was only to able to play GTA IV for one hour, later it crashed, which also happened with my old notebook with intel i3.

I neede only commendline for stop the disappearment of the textures, but I don't know which, line it is, so I'm using this one:

I'm sorry, but I do not understand one thing :S

I use this, because I only want to get the textures disappearment out, and I don't know, which one is for it, and I can't find, where stands, use for texture disappearment, or something like that. This is confusing me, cause, I never had problems with GTA SA, but, yes it crashes, also if I'm using a Gamer Laptop and it's getting very hot :SSS

But, what could the problem of the crash? I never was able to play it once for 4 hours without game crash. I try it now with Gamebooster, as like the one video on youtube. I got the commandline from there.

Please, someone help me!

OK, laptops are really not made for gaming, you have to come to terms with that. GTAIV is a very hard performer and it generates extra heat and laptops do not like extra heat.

For textures, you should look at using memrestrict commandline, which is described in the post I linked to above in detail.

BTW: I'm not using a No-CD Crack, just as original, but can cause a crack also problems? I hope, that I'm not the only one with original CD having it. I got the Complete Edition, but first I want to finish the main game, before I start TBoGT.

You should at all times use original and unmodified game files if you aim to troubleshoot the game with some chance of success.

Why should I use unmodified game? I don't like the cars in it, and the main problem is, why the game crashed and if anybody has a solution for it
