This is pretty simple, I'm pretty noob at MED and I made a custom map.
However, I want to share the map files with others.
I've tried giving them my IPLs but they don't get my map?

How am I supposed to share the map files?

You mean how to upload them to the Internet? Well, first make sure to place all your map folders / files on the desktop, and archive them. Then, go to box.net. You'll need an account to be able to upload there, so go here and complete those fields. I'm not sure if it'll request validation, but if it does make sure to check your E-mail.

After that, you'll be led to a page with All files and folders. There you'll see a button called Upload. Click on it, browse your .zip / .rar / etc file and press upload. Wait a little and then you'll see somewhere a button called "Share" - press on that one and copy paste the given URL to your friends to download.

Hope that's what you meant.

First, thanks for response.

I know how to upload files. The thing is after I make my map, I copy the entire "map" sub folder in the "Data" folder in the SA directory. I upload it to mediafire and share it with people but my map isn't visible to them. I don't know why.

You must upload your maps Dff's, Txd's, Col's, gta_vc.dat (for VC), Ipl's, Ide's.

I think that's it.

Ohhh, I think I get it now..but which DFF's or TXD's?

That is if you have custom models, which I doubt you do. If you make custom IPL's, people will have to add them to the gta.dat file, otherwise they'll never appear, so with the IDE/IPL files, also share your gta.dat file so the game loads the custom IPL's.
