LCS is great, in many ways its my second favorite GTA III era game

Oh, I doubt it. After everything this game had to offer for me, I consider it one of the best. Maybe not in the terms of graphics or gameplay - but the story and the Soundtrack was great. Plus, we got to see the infamous Liberty City once again.

There was a time when I hated this game - but that was due to me playing it while still being under impression from GTA III.

It's just me though...

Hell no! LCS was awesome! It was the game that made me want to buy a PSP, it was GTA on the go. I remember the first time when it came out, the first, true, GTA game that I can play anywhere I wanted. The only problem with it was the lack of a second analog stick, but that was a PSP limitation and couldn't be helped at the time.

Honestly, it was the GTA that I played the most, even topping SA. I still play this game to this day.

I agree here. Even though LCS isn't my prime favorite (GTA III is), it is a close second. For me.

You gotta love the people here comparing LCS to GTA Advance. Way to go, comparing a full-fledged 3D third-person GTA game to a 2D topdown game on a platform that's a generation older.

GTA Advance was the best they could do on that platform, and I honestly don't think it's a bad game for the Gameboy Advance. Ofcourse LCS is better, but comparing GTA Advance to GTA LCS is like comparing Chinatown Wars to GTAIV.

Anyway, excluding Advance, I'd say that GTA VCS is the worst of them all. It has a great setting, but the protagonist was a huge disappointment and VCS just doesn't have the same atmosphere as VC.

No man, I'm with ya one this one! LCS, I thought, was the best aswell. Toni was the most badass, evil protag in the series, the game it self was awesome, and it was the first, true mafia style themed GTA.

Although I don't currently own a copy of Vice City Stories I rater enjoyed the game when I did. It seemed like a good balance between Vice City (but without the heritage, of course) and the added features of San Andreas. The graphics were also top-notch, not technical-wise but the lighting.

Ah well, different strokes for different folks I suppose.

Added features of San Andreas? Which ones? There were no different pieces of clothing (only "outfits"), no stats building, the only thing I can really think of is swimming.

Fighting system(not really SA feature, SA had gym moves, but this is a bit similiar), Empire buildings are also a bit similiar to SA things you acquire them just like gang territories in SA. It has a lot unique features.

If it was a PS2 > PSP game then it would be alot of stuff to be done, but both LCS/VCS was a PSP > PS2 game so less stuff
