Hello! I was trying to mod a police car in while I found out that my GTA IV vehicle.img is way too small and doesn't contain any of the police cars.

A picture of the vehicle.img is below along with what cars are currently there:

I'm wondering what I should do.

Did you search all of the .img file? because apparently the police .wft and .wtd files begin with a P letter. Here are the names.

Police2
Polpatriot

E: That's the TLaD vehicles.img by the way, open the .img file located at Main Directory\pc\models\cdimages.

Yeah now I found it! But now I can't mod.
When I open up Spark IV and I go into the CD images do I click SAVE there? Or exit out and click save on the other screen.
Really if you can find a Youtube video to help me I'd owe you a lot! <3

u open the vehicles.img file and edit what u want to, then u rebuild it and save it.

Yeah, don't forget to save it.

As for the handling and other lines, just copy/paste.

lolwut? it doesn't mean that it's a pirate version at all. the issue is most likely because he don't know how to save it (as he said he didn't know where he should press save). so why don't u visit google and get more knowledge about modding instead?

That wasn't really necessary, was it? jpm has good knowledge about modding. He and the OP had mistaken the IV vehicles.img with the TLaD one.

As I said, it's just a misunderstanding. The OP stated that his vehicle.img file is small and missing some files - of course, the first thing you'll assume here is that the game is pirated, since some of the pirated versions have contents removed - but he has mistaken it for TLaD's vehicles.img, which contains files for vehicles in TLaD only.

well, i don't believe they remove vehicles, that's just stupid if they did. also, "Hakochou" is not to be mistaken since it's a vehicle from EFLC, not IV, so also there he don't know pretty much
