If you read the previews you knew that they said that the city takes up about 1/8 (or less than half at least - like 1/4) space of the entire map. Yeah, the countryside overall definitely will be bigger than Los Santos.

Who is facepalming now? Or do you rather trust yourself with the screenshots or so than the previews who saw the demo and got confirmation by R*?
