I mean, it lags so immensly bad that when Im playing TLATD, The lip sync isn't in place, It takes forever for textures to pop in, and the motorcycles bounce up and down. It's probably cause my graphics card and cores and all that aren't good enough. Idk. Here they are. Computer Type: Pavilion g7-1365dx Notebook PC (Windows 7 64-bit) Adapter Type: ADM Radeon HD 6520G graphics card Chip Type: ATI display adapter (0x9647) DAC Type: Internal DAC(400MHz) Adapter String: @oem2.inf,%amd9647.21%;AMD Radeon Installed Memory (RAM): 4.00 GB Bios Information: BR41232.bin Total Available Graphics Memory: 2036 MB Dedicated Video Memory: 512 MB System Video Memory: 0 MB Shared System Memory: 1524 MB Any Ideas or help? | QUOTE (pageone @ Thursday, Jul 19 2012, 03:38) | I'd upgrade GPU for better performance. | Since he is on a laptop, that IS NOT an option, as laptop cards CANNOT be upgraded, as they are soldered into the motherboards(according to a local PC Repair shop in the gulfcoast area).... On-topic, That is an Integrated card(meaning the VRAM is SHARED with the System Ram), so there will always be a problem there... However, you never mentioned What Processor you have and the Processor Speed?-This is highly important info. to post to get accurate help, not like there's much you can do, since you are on a laptop, though....

My processor is an AMD A6-3420M APU with Radeon HD graphics 1.50 GHz | So, there's the other half of the problem-your processor speed is way below minimum for the game, as the MINIMUM speed for AMD Processors is 2.4GHZ(according to the game's requirements)...On top of that, laptop processors and video cards are usually slower than their desktop counter parts, so a 1.5GHZ laptop processor would more than likely be about the same as a desktop 1GHZ Processor, I reckon?

i ran EFLC with phenom x4 975 @ 800mhz (locked by bios). original poster, 1. change your target to something like "C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\EFLC\LaunchEFLC.exe" -novblank -availablevidmem 2.0 2. use memrestrict - i find -memrestrict 262144000 works good with Llano 6550d, but whatever works for you 3. use these settings and work your way up: Texture Quality: Low Shadow Quality: Off Reflection Resolution: Off Water Quality: Low Texture Filter Quality: Anisotropic x4 Night Shadows: Off View Distance: 25 Detail Distance: 31
