I remember(BOTH on PC AND PS2) how when you get the first call it automatically puts you in a mission and does not give the option to reply Yes OR No to it... [...] |
I've never had that occur, automaticly that is. but he says other save points exist. | It does the very first time you get a call about the Courier side missions...the first time however, it won't let you choose Yes or No, so it automatically puts you on a mission so to speak-as you can still do missions, you just can't save for a while...However, any time you get a call after that, you have the option to choose No and not have to worry about it...

I believe there is something wrong with your game. The First call explains the mission. It doesn't start it. I've over 85 game plays, and never has either of the Ya courier missions (M/c or Patriot) ever forced itself. I've accidently accepted it, but never an Automatic start. Are you sure one of your mods hasn't affected the game play? Maybe you should try it again? | QUOTE (AuSsIeThUnDeR36 @ Posted: Thursday, Oct 11 2012, 09:48) | That must be it. I had got about 38 photos when Cesar called and told me about the yay shipment. CJ replies with something like 'Ok, I'll keep an eye out for 'em' Thus the reason for the missing save point. Technically CJ is on an activated mission. Gee that's weird! Thanks for the help guys |
The question remains: Is this Automatic or a fumble? Anyone remember the experience? This post has been edited by lil weasel on Thursday, Oct 11 2012, 10:21

I'm pretty sure that on mine the first call regarding those courier missions tells you how it works (an explanation). You then will later get a call and then have the option to complete the missions or decline it (like I normally do).
That's just on my PS2 version anyway, I can't speak for PC users.
